Busby SEO Challenge

This august is the last month we have to optimize our site in order to win Busby SEO Challenge. How's going folks? Get tired? Today I try to search on our beloved search engine Google, I found a very beautiful, pretty, cute, sweet SEO. How can optimization become so beautiful, pretty, cute and sweet? no..no.. Let's take a little refreshment in our stress optimizing our site. I found a young pretty Seo Joo Hyung. She's pretty, isn't it?

When we talk about search engine optimization we have to deal with off page and on page factors. Here are we going to discuss about off page factors. Off page factors is become a very important thing because they directly related to our site ranking. Especially for the case Busby SEO Challenge which compete our site ranking under the keyword Busby SEO Challenge. But we must take carefully this off page factors; they can make or even break our site ranking.

Before we discussing deeper, what is ”link popularity”? In a very simple way we can describe link popularity as a number and quality of the incoming links that point to our site. By linking to our site, the site which giving the links consider that out site is important, and this is one vote for our site in search engine terms.

It began for about 10 years ago, when my dad change our car from FIAT to Citroën. A 1978 Citroën House GS. At first, it seems like an ordinary car for me, but not anymore after I drove it around the city. Really comfortable car ever made, with its wonderful Hydro pneumatic suspension. Powered by 4-cylinders boxer engine, this car still can run at 150kph when I took it to Surabaya-Gempol freeway. Not any repair shop can repair this car; they always said this is a knotty car. Fortunately, I love to do greasy monkey, it's like a hobby for me. Since this was an old car, I've made more than 3 times overhauled the engine, and also have the suspension totally repaired myself. I don't know why this car is no longer available in Indonesia, and this unavailability made the spare-parts really hard to find. Usually, I've got the spare-parts from other Citroën lover or have it from "rombengan". Of course this is not a new part, but odds and ends.

There are many search engine in the Internet, but now i want to discuss the top 3 search engine in cebhonk version. There are Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Three of them have their own algorithm on how they crawl sites and then index them. I'm not trying to discuss about their algorithm, but I really confused with what they took from our site. For my Busby SEO Challenge site, I take a look at cpanel's built-in statistics, awstat, to know which search engine's crawler have visit my site. Whalla, I found very interesting result:

Like you can see above, MSNBot is the most active bot visiting my site, much more active than another two, then I think that MSN will have my page indexed better or at least very often updating its cache of my site. Unfortunately NOT!!
